Oil exports from the Persian Gulf have exceeded the levels recorded before the outbreak of the war, as an alternative maritime transport system, organized under the protection of the United States, allows crude oil shipments to continue despite the intensification of Iranian attacks on vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz.
